bacteriophages. Use for the cultivation and maintenance of starter cultures for
cheese and yogurt manufacture as well as detecting streptococcal mutants that
are unable to ferment lactose. Also use for the selective isolation of Streptococcus
thermophilus from yogurt, cheese and others dairy products.
