Mueller Hinton Agar

Use for antimicrobial disk-agar diffusion susceptibility testing by the Bauer-Kirby method of a variety of bacterial species. Supplemented with 5 % sheep blood for use in antimicrobial susceptibility testing of Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus in uenza. For the isolation of pathogenic Neisseria species and for the cultivation and maintenance of Moraxella osloensis and Neisseria meningitides.
